- Sort them out into different bins/bags
- Aluminium
- Iron
- Stainless steel
- Normal steel
- Copper
- Brass

Did you know … clean metal is worth more than dirty metals. So sort yours accordingly to whether or not they have dirt, rust, mud etc. You should also look to separate out the most expensive metals, such as Copper
